Every day we have potential clients asking how we can improve their social media presence.  The reality is this: your business cannot survive in this world without the help of some form of social networking/online presence.

Social media is a tool to reach these clients in a way that gains traditional marketing benefits much more efficiently. There is data proving that using marketing strategies can bring an essential client. IF you have a social media presence, it allows you to bridge the gap between office and home, without stepping over boundaries. Clients go to social media to feel good, be assured about the business services, and seek community. The total number of followers reflects the number of people wanting to connect with the brand: the more followers, the higher the potential reach. New followers tell you people are gaining awareness of the brand and, after becoming familiar with the page (and possibly website), desire connecting with the brand.

This is why content formats like Stories have become popular. They are short, engaging, and addictive in a way that people can spend hours scrolling through one Story after another boosting engagement!

Engagement looks at the actions taken by those who viewed the post. It's a reflection that the post resonated with the audience enough to prompt action among the scanning of their social media feed. Engagement includes clicks. Clicks measure the number of people who clicked on the content, reflecting the material appealed to the person on an individual level. Since many clients make sales through their website, directing followers to the website is important

With ephemeral content, it absolutely must start factoring into your content calendars and marketing strategies, and it's a non-negotiable tool your business needs to execute consistently.

Niche Social Platforms

There is a niche for everyone! Whether your business is in the medical field, real estate, clothing, etc. etc. there's a network out there filled with people your brand is trying to target! This idea isn't all that new, though. However, becoming more invested in your unique niche might pave the way to create a bigger following. From a marketing standpoint, this provides an exciting opportunity to connect with a high-target audience.

When people relate to your content on an emotional level, they form a bond or relationship with your brand that is perceived as "likeability." Let's face it, followers are attracted to those they like! Each social media platform has its own algorithm that determines the frequency and priority of content. However, it's safe to say that the more popular the content, the more likely platforms will show it to users. 

Spend time where your users hang out. And that might be a niche social site. More than ever, people are looking for a sense of belonging where they can express, collaborate, and learn. Social commerce is the ability to deliver a seamless and consistent experience across channels while weighing in the different devices that consumers are using to interact with your business. It's not just "online shopping." It's shopping from a phone, tablet, laptop, social media platform, ads, etc.

Social media platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook have long been used by brands to sell their products. Social commerce has become a new retail avenue for brands, and this trend is only going to get stronger. What's clear is that social commerce is inevitable, driven by the changing culture. Every time you log on to a social platform, you will 100% have the ability to purchase a product.

Social media can be a useful tool for marketing but direct sale as well. People want everything to be at their fingertips and as easy as possible, which is why social commerce will continue to grow in popularity amongst brands and products.

Video content is one of the most engaging forms of content and will soon dominate the social media a clear winner over all other types of content. Whether it is short-form videos like those accessible on TikTok or Stories or long-form content on YouTube, videos are still the future of social media content.

According to a Cisco study, by 2022, 82% of all online content will be video content. This clearly shows how important it is to start utilizing video content to stay relevant in the social media domain.

More and more of our clients are heading toward vlogs. They record the vlog, then send it to us, and we transcribe the text for readers and post on their websites. Videos have been making market strategies adapt since the creation of YouTube. There are significant benefits to just putting on a video and listening to content rather than taking the time to read. Videos are going and have been dominating social platforms. They are visually attractive and can be pointed out with a brand. They engage the target audience, and videos can be understandable to a wide range of the target audience, they are often memorable and relatable.

There will always be new trends when it comes to social media. Most can be seen on the horizon—which makes our lives, as business owners, a little easier because we know where to direct our marketing strategies. There will always be that random trend that comes from nowhere and makes a huge splash, so just be adaptable.  My advice?
